ITI Electrician

Overview

The ITI Electrician is a 2 year course approved by the NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training). The electrician is a tradesman specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, transmission lines, stationary machines, and related equipment. The electricians may be employed in the installation of new electrical components or maintenance and repair or existing electrical infrastructure.
Focus: The electrician courses are generally focused on either construction or maintenance, although many do both. The electricians specialize in constructing primarily install wiring systems into factories, businesses, and new homes, maintenance fix and upgrade existing electrical systems and repair electrical equipment.

Career Prospects: After completing this ITI Electrician course, you can become an electrician, wireman, electrical machine operator, welder, instructor of electrical machines, supervise or and a technician and you can also become an instructor and teacher in ITI.
